My boys are my biggest supporters when it comes to my riding, even after a fall that Dennis witnessed. It didn't help when the groom was telling me that if he were me, he wouldn't get back on. But it's like driving. After an accident, you need to get behind the wheel the, soonest, and drive to shake off the fear. Erhm...and also guts, especially when you're aching from the fall.
The best thing about riding is the relationship you build with the horse. Though Trojan is not my horse and I'm just one of her riders, we know each other well enough after working together for two years. It's a partnership between the horse and the rider, an unspoken understanding.
